I have just discovered very saddening news.

Wizard discontinued Anime Insider! =(

Seriously, I can't believe I only found out about this now. They stopped publishing it in MARCH. I thought it was odd that I never saw it on magazine racks anymore, but I figured I just wasn't looking in the right places. But now... D=

I really should not be as upset and angry as I am right now. But I can't help it. That was my FAVORITE magazine. It has so much information, and the articles were so fun and entertaining. Just...how...how could they cancel it?! It was so freaking awesome!

Apparently, it's because of the "economy". I swear to god, if the economy was a living being I would punch it in the face. Why does everything have to be because of the economy? I also found out that another anime magazine, Newtype USA, was recently cancelled. What's next? Are the remaining anime companies going to go under, like Geneon? Is it going to become impossible to buy any anime merchandise in North America?

Well, I'm just feeling seriously bummed right now, I had to let that rant out. I guess I'm now going to have to start buying Otaku USA to get my anime magazine fix. God forbid if that gets discontinued. Heads will roll. XD
